3. Promote research in the core disciplines of medicine, especially in the areas of applied biomedical research that will meet the need of the community and the nation in general.

Provide professional development programs for scientists and researchers and promote the workforce with highly qualified and trained national cadres in modern scientific research and attract the largest possible number of faculty in University's health colleges to participate in the various programs of research units.
5. Awards for excellence in science and its applications through the development and implementation of unique programs to appreciate outstanding scientists and researchers.
6. Planning and promoting programs and projects of scientific research and technological development as a mode of life and promotion of scientific culture among citizens.
7. Contribute to the supportive planning and development programs, development of societies and scientific associations.
8. Proposals for initiating cooperative agreements between the MRC (Medical Research Center) and similar scientific centers. Work on providing information systems of scientific research and technological development that is mandatory for researchers to enhance their scientific capabilities and providing this information in approachable and accessible ways.
9. Protection of intellectual property rights of patents with the goal to support/promote the development of national innovation.
10. To ensure that the center would be one of the recognized centers in its efficiency at the national and international level.
