ELC Council

 The English Language Center is administratively run by the ELC Director, under the supervision of Jazan University’s Deputy for Academic Affairs,  along with two assistants: one for the academic affairs and the other for the female section. The ELC administration follows up the daily activities through its various units, committees, and supervisors. In order to address some critical issues pertaining to the faculty members and administrative staff, the Vice President for the Academic Affairs formed an ELC Council. The key objectives and duties of the ELC Council are:

    to look into the matters related to Saudi Teaching Assistants, Lecturers and Assistant Professors, particularly those affiliated with the ELC

    to review issues of the ELC expatriate staff and recommend orientation and training programs to improve their academic performance and enhance the learning and teaching process

    to select and approve curriculum plans and textbooks which are administered by the centre

    to take measures for issues forwarded to the Council and provide recommendations

    to participate actively in recommending improvement plans that are deemed necessary
